Hi!
I am Miss Libby, and I teach in room 25. I have been a part of the RSU 67 district for 4 years, and have spent the last 3 teaching kindergarten. Having grown up in Mattawamkeag, I knew that teaching in a close knitt community would be an amazing experience. After graduating from the University of Maine at Farmington, I jumped at the opportunity to come back to my hometown to teach.
The past 3 years have brought a great deal of laughter, many new challanges, and a lot of learning for both the children and me. There is never a dull moment in kindergarten!
I am certain that 2011-2012 school year will be another great one. I believe strongly in open communication between school and home, if you have any questions, would like to visit, or are simply curious to see what the students are up to, please feel free to visit. My door is always open!

Hi, my name is Mrs. Turner and I will be filling in for Mrs. Peters this year. I have been in education for 34 years. Most of my teaching was at the Dr. Carl Troutt School as a 1st grade teacher.
I graduated from Mattanawcook Academy and went to college at University of Presque Isle.
I live in Mattawamkeag with my husband, John. We have two grown children and three grandchildren.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family at our camp in Lincoln. When I am not at the lake reading a good book, I will be at the store shopping.
I am very exited to work this year in kindergarten. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Hi!
I am Mrs. Peters. I began my journey as a teacher down in Southern Maine in a kindergarten classroom much like the one I'm in today. When I ventured back to my hometown, Millinocket, I got a position teaching 3rd grade at the Dr. Carl Troutt School in Mattawamkeag. During my 4 years there, I taught 3rd grade for 2 years and then transferred to 1st grade. I taught 1st grade for 4 years until the position in kindergarten became available. My heart has always belonged to kindergarten since I first became a teacher, so I am very fortunate to have finally made it back to where I first started. I'm having so much fun already and I'm looking forward to a wonderful year!

Hi, My name is Miss Crockett and I have been teaching kindergarten for 20 years. I was born and raised in Lincoln and am very proud to be teaching in the community that I grew up in. I graduated from the University of Maine - Orono with a BS in Early Childhood Development. I started my teaching career at the Dr. Carl Troutt School in Mattawamkeag as an Early Kindergarten/Kindergarten teacher. After the closure of CTS, I moved down to the Ella P. Burr School. This is my 4th year at EPB. As much as I love my job, I also like to spend time with my family and friends. My summers are spent at camp on Cold Stream. I have a sister who lives in Enfield and one that lives in Massachusetts with her son Andrew. My mother also taught in the district for 30 plus years as a High School English Teacher. When I'm not playing at school or with my family, I like to ride on my wet jet, motocycle and my 'baby car.'
